Purpose

This type of aircraft is also suitable for ab initio training however it is always best to start in a slower aircraft such as the Cessna 152. You may complete your PPL (Private Pilot Licence) in this aircraft. It has 4 seats, 1 Pilot and 3 Passengers and the operating costs are low. Cessna started to produce this type back in 1956 and manufactured over 43,000 of this type. Today Cessna still produces this type called the Cessna 172S it has Garmin G1000 instead of the analogue instruments and the basic cost for a new one is approximately $310,000 USD.
